keeping a constant balance between two sides.
Walking on the ground, there's no need to focus
on an extended, straight line. Side roads are possible.
Time is the only line that might matter.
Walking on an unkown side road balances between knowing and exploring.
For this, the `side road is the method` and `time is the scale`.
